They are excellent here…went in for a consult and unfortunately my insurance won’t allow me to have this type of surgery at Wellspan Ephrata Hospital due to the hospital not having some sort of certification they require, but from my experience there, can definitely say they were all kind and very caring.
Dr. Marone was amazing! I had no idea I had diverticulitis and he saved my life. I told him that a lot of surgeons are “stiff” and don’t seem very approachable, and that he is a breath of fresh air! Down to earth, cares very much for his patients and I received wonderful care during my stay at Wellspan Ephrata Hospital. I have had ZERO complications and ZERO problem since being home.
