All we ever get is recorded messages! Very hard to communicate with!!!
We had a horrible experience trying to obtain a mortgage loan through Wells Fargo. Our agents and underwriters were constantly out of town or otherwise unavailable. It took well over a month after going in circles for us to receive an answer. Very disappointed in their lack of professionalism and customer service.
Unacceptable customer service. They make promises they are unable to deliver on. We have been waiting for answers on the status of our appraisal, and no one can give us a straight answer. The manager Carolyn was no help whatsoever, even after giving us her word she would see it through. Don't lose your home because of their incompetence, like we have.
Working with Wells Fargo for a home refinance was the worst experience ever! Jerry Gentry was the mortgage consultant we were assigned to. Not only was he not helpful during the process, he was rude. There were multiple problems with the online server they use and when we would call or text him for help during the loan process, he would not get back with you to answer questions. We chose to move forward with another bank for our mortgage needs. I don't recommend Wells Fargo at all for any banking/loan needs.
DO NOT USE WELLS FARGO MORTGAGE FOR HOME PURCHASES! I have been in real estate for over 11 years and have not had such a terrible experience with lender as I am currently experiencing. They are 4 weeks delayed in getting a loan approved, refuse to return calls, do not have answers of where the loan is and why it is delayed except that "these things take a long time and can't be rushed". This is my second negative experience with them and both times has caused my clients to lose money because of the delay.
