I was looking to buy my first house a few years ago and someone suggested I go to Wells Fargo to get pre-aproved. Since I was using a VA loan there was plenty of extra paperwork but loan specialist I had was very nice and explained everything along the way. I received a good rate that was locked in and I was on my way.
