Patricia refused to let me deposit a check claiming it was fraudulent. She would not listen to reason. I had a power of attorney for a friend. She originally refused to talk to the escrow company who issued the check. Do not go to Wells Fargo if you have a large check and expect professional service. I told Patricia that her refusal to listen would jeopardize my ability to purchase a property. She did not care. She would not even put the check on hold. Horrible customer service. I came in and was told by the teller that they couldn’t assist me and I needed to speak with a banker. I agreed and waited patiently. While waiting, a woman walked in, said she had a “quick question,” and was immediately helped by two bankers—even though I had already been waiting 45 minutes to an hour. When I brought this to the teller’s attention, another staff member came out and told me all the bankers were booked for the rest of the day. No apology. No follow-up. Just dismissed. If you have elderly parents this bank is not user friendly, nor does it accommodate elderly women who has a hard time getting in and out of a car and has to walk with a walking while willing her legs to work. Randall Green the bank manager told me he could not go out to the car to speak with her that she had to come inside to do business. When I told him she can hardly walk he told me that didn't matter she had to come in. Finally got her inside only to find her ID had expired because she doesn't drive anymore. The Johnston, Iowa location could really use some training on customer service. I have been in there multiply times and everyone is very unhappy and rude. The WF worker that walked away making a statement, you should learn some respect to your customers. I will continue to drive across town to do my business at the WF in Urbandale.

Frustrating Experience with Wells Fargo's Check Endorsement Process I recently attempted to schedule an appointment with Wells Fargo to endorse an insurance check for a fully repaired property. My review applies only to the branch at 900 W. Indiantown Road in Jupiter, FL. I recently moved to a new address (just a few doors down the hall in my apartment building) and stopped by the branch to notify them of a change of address and to get some new checks printed with my new address on them. Despite repeated requests, they refused to process a change of address or print new checks without my supplying proof of my new residence - even though I had been an existing customer for decades. Zero stars, actually. Since last October I have been attempting to make a complete balance payment in order to close my credit card account. This involved going in person to my old bank in Durango CO, (I live in Germany by the way), wherein they made a mistake and did not quote the correct balance, meaning I did not pay the correct final amount. I have been a customer for over 20 years at the Merchant's Walk branch in Marietta, GA. I am heading for Mexico on Saturday and picked up the $400 in Mexican pesos at the bank this morning. When I got home I opened the sealed envelope only to find that they were short 2,000 pesos. This bank makes so many mistakes. Last time I was traveling to Europe, they completely botched another foreign currency pickup. Previously, they mixed up a wire transfer. You can't count on this bank.
