On Friday 9/18 I sold my home. The title company is in the same building as Wells Fargo where I have had an account with them for 16 years. Received my check and deposited it as usual. I was not forewarned that a check over $6,725 would receive an automatic 2-business day hold. This was on a Friday and the receipt said $6,450 available on 9/22 and the balance on 9/24.
