My mom, who is 86, is a customer. She asked the bank if she could add me as a co-signor of her account. They said yes, but I had to accompany her to the branch to sign the requisite papers. I live 90 min away but we went on a Saturday to get it done. We were greeted by no one. I’d have to say after being a loyal customer of Wells Fargo for 40 years how disappointing it was when I walked in for the first time in probably six months and asked for as many check registers as they could spare, because I’m old-fashioned and still use them, that the generosity was overwhelming when she handed me five check registers and said she has to save the rest for other customers. Now, if that doesn’t make you feel warm and fuzzy inside, especially around the holiday time I don’t know what would.
