Even though I was able to make a notary appointment online and showed up early, the banker who does notary services rudely refused to notarize my letter based on an arbitrary policy of not doing letters. I asked where that was written and he gave me an 800 number to call. The customer rep there basically said they couldn’t help me. So this bank wasted my time by accepting my appointment and having me call an unhelpful 800 number. Unprovoked rudeness is ridiculous. What do you notarize?
