Stopped by Saturday morning to deposit cash, some 100s and 20s. Hector stood in front of me and stared at my money for a couple of minutes, but failed to say anything to me or his manager until I asked him why he kept looking at my money like that. He said he thought it was fake. When I asked him what specifically made him think it was fake, he said they "looked and felt weird," and continued to look at them. They have two tellers working on a busy Saturday morning, and the line has been steady with around 10-15 people waiting. Absolutely absurd. Closing my account today. Peace out Wells Fargo. Worst bank ever.
I originally went to a different branch and they weren’t able to help on a saturday so they set me up with an appointment with the Fair Oaks branch. I had a lot of confusing factors with my trust fund and Brittany & Angie were so helpful and went above and beyond for me
I walked in today to open an account for my mother’s large estate. I informed teller of my intent adding I personally was a client. In total there were six staff and two customers. Despite lack of business, I was told by the teller there were no walk ins available. This was supported by the manager. She suggested I make an appointment. I left. Sorry Wells Fargo, US Bank will get the estate business.
Been a premier banking customer since 1995 with many Wells Fargo accounts. I needed several more accounts opened for a new business I’m starting and had the afternoon off. I called at 1:50ish to see if I could walk in and open the accounts that afternoon after going to the gym, or if I needed an appointment. I was told a walk in was fine. I showed up at 2:50ish, waited for 20 minutes before a banker rudely told me I needed an appointment and heavily implied that I lied about calling ahead.
