I am glad they went co-ed. It was not while I was there. Girls had written nasty things in chalk all over bashing straight girls, I was stalked by a girl, accused of bringing a rapist on to campus who did nothing...the college did nothing.

Wells was a place where I was academically challenged and supported. It’s culture cultivated life-long relationships that helped to enrich me as a person. I am proud to be a Wells Woman.

I graduated in the Class of 2004 and have worked at two separate Ivy League institutions since then. The training I received from Wells related to critical thinking, social justice, and the importance of a tight-knit, caring community have been invaluable to me in both my professional and personal life. These are lessons more "elite" institutions simply aren't willing or able to provide, and yet students are hungry for them. I wouldn't trade my Wells years for anything.

The college looks beautiful as I have taken Route 90 to and from Cortland. What kind of degrees are offered and what kind of jobs do students get when they graduate? I also see the affiliation with Cornell. Is that true? Can students take classes at Cornell? Thank you. Matt

Brilliant professors who work one-on-one with students; beautiful serene campus ideal for serious studies; proximity to Ithaca and NYC for weekends away. Fabulous little college.
