Completed the birth professionals 3 hour lactation training with Julie today. It was great. So much time for questions - lots of images to describe what she was talking about. Some things I’ve been doing with patients for years but now realize should be tweaked due to updated information for best results. All backed with references and lots of experience. Highly recommend! Now I’m looking to do more … thank you Julie!
Julie's a miracle worker! She's incredibly knowledgeable, very professional, and balances her advice with a deep care for the mother's well-being. We went from a baby who didn't latch and triple-feeding to a baby who loves nursing in just two visits! Highly recommend
Even when breastfeeding is "easy", it's hard. You may be worried, in pain, joyful, overwhelmed, exhausted...etc. Julie prepared me before birth so I knew what my in-hospital goals should be, came to my home after the newborn love bomb went off (it was such a mess) and didn't bat an eye at any of it. She coached me through feeds, kept me reassured, did weighted feeds, responded quickly to texts, and even helped me with the insurance paperwork to reimburse the support. Highly recommend Julie and all of her classes and education! I took a lactation class and a childbirth education class with her. She inspired me to become an IBCLC and that is what I am doing now!
I am a birth doula and have done a couple of trainings with Julie. She is such a fabulous instructor. She takes her time and answers our questions and explains things so that we understand completely. She's taught me so much in the last couple of years!
