I was traveling on NC-55 today when one of their drivers nearly caused a serious accident right in front of me. The driver was clearly texting and driving, swerving badly, almost going into the ditch, and coming dangerously close to a head-on collision with oncoming traffic. This was extremely reckless and put multiple people at risk.
One of their trucks cut off a family in their minivan and almost caused a serious accident, then proceeded to cut me off and brake check me.
I’m from the area, and I’ve met several Wellons employees over the years. Every one of them has been friendly and professional. Today, I met Jason when I was stuck on the side of the road, and he was awesome, he changed my tire and made sure everything was good to go. The construction industry is tough, but the Wellons team is always approachable and great with the community. Highly recommend them! Also, can we all just agree to stop driving in the left lane unless you're actually passing someone?
