I had been struggling with anxiety and depression for quite some time and had tried many medicinal remedies from several different doctors. None of which seemed to help. I finally decided that if I couldn't 'fix' the problem I needed to learn how to deal with it and on the referral of a friend made an appointment with Wellness and Courage. It was the best decision I ever made. I have been in counseling for a year now and have seen tremendous changes in my well-being thanks to my counselor Lauren.
By far the best experience with therapy. Lauren makes every session meaningful and productive. Her calm, kind, intentional approach makes such a difference.
Lauren is the best therapist I’ve had, my state of mind cleared up a lot and my self image wasn’t the horrible mess of hate that it was before going to her. She gave me life changing tools, helped me learn to go live life on my own, and even helped me get a promotion at work with how much my confidence shot up! I loved working with her, though I lost my health insurance and wasn’t able to continue my time in her office.
