I am a patient at CVA in Kingsport Tn. On 2/5/23 @ 8 p.m. my Defibrillator/Pacemaker started making a humming sound. From that point forward, every 4 hours it has been making a European Ambulance sound. I called first thing Monday morning and explained the situation and that I had sent a reading from my home monitor. I was told someone would contact me asap. On August 4, I took my 95 year old mother for her yearly check. At best she has a difficult time breathing but we were met at the door by a woman who made her life hell. She insisted on my mother pulling her mask over her nose in spite of the fact she couldn't breathe and refused to acknowledge her medical exception. Further, I as her legal caregiver was not allowed to accompany her. My mother panicked, stated to cry and the woman withheld medical service unless she went in alone.
