This is honestly one of the best doctor’s offices I’ve been to. The whole team is very friendly and make you feel comfortable from the second you walk in. The staff at Wellmed are courteous and professional. Dr Atkinson is particularly gifted at asking the right questions and listening to your concerns and issues. She takes the time to discuss options with you as to medications or referral to specialists. Before you leave you have a summary of visit, medications updated or added, and advice as to diet, supplements, and therapy that can maintain or improve your quality of life. I have two thyroid conditions and I have seven of those weekly pill prep sticks that I prepare ahead of time. Seven weeks ago I ran out of my medication filling them and just forgot in the mean time to make an apt. It was my error, I realize and admitted it. I am working every day until next weekend to which I have to drive out for my sister's wedding and with my days off and work schedule, they can't get me in until the end of next month.
