I’ve called the office 4 times this week trying to get something scheduled for my father. I’ve had 1 return call, but by the time I reached my phone it’d gone to voicemail. I immediately called back but their “after hours” answering service (automated) was on. That’s how last minute the call back was. Not happy with their service at this point. I have been a patient at this location for over 20 years, dating back to when it was run by Dr. Thomas and Dr. Nelon. Since WellMed took over, however, the quality of service and professionalism has declined significantly. My recent experience was so disappointing that I’ve already decided to find a new physician. I went in for basic blood work and was greeted by a receptionist named Siri, who insisted I pay a $25 co-pay despite the fact my insurance only requires $15. The staff at this practice, especially Courtney Martinez, is extremely incompetent. After two visits, I have decided to switch my primary care physician and never again endure the unprofessionalism and lack of medical knowledge that I experienced at Well Med Burleson.Only go here if you have absolutely no other option.
