600$ a month plus electric for a tiny 1 room apartment with hardly any closet space, annoying maintenance man that has nothing better to do than type notes to hang up everywhere and slip through your door, pounds on your door screaming maintenance for absolutely no reason once so ever, elevator was broken for 32 days then 3 days after it got fixed it broke again, shower was unusable and broken for 2 weeks during the summer before they even came and fixed it do not recommend living at the Wellman building just an over priced ... read more
good place to live if you enjoy bed bugs, roaches and a drug ridden building.
Windows are dirty, I would clean them myself, but some are broken and can't open or close. It is so loud in downtown area and the windows are so old that the noise feel very real at 1am. When moving in, floors were so dirty that soles of my feet were black. Took me three rounds of floor washing to get the dirt out. I found that they have mice in this building! We’re just moving in and are starting to notice things we overlooked, and starting to feel the pain from the things we thought we could deal with. Keep in mind this place was recently renovated, so at first glance everything seems a bit more modern, and perhaps even nicer than what you’re used to around the Jamestown NY area. So the biggest issue with this, and many other apartments/flats, is space.
