I've eaten at Wellington's on a couple of occasions, and the food has always been spot-on. They make a very good Reuben, and the onion rings are to die for. The atmosphere/ambience is nothing special, in fact it's a bit utilitarian. They would do well to invest in some interior design. But the food is great.
I went and got the "Tuesday chicken special" last week and it was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. The chicken was dry and old and it tasted like it had been sittin out under a heat light for days. The "cheesy taters" were just big pieces of diced up potatoes with no flavor, butter or cheese 😧
