Do not trust. Applied for refi five weeks ago, and my credit was pulled three weeks ago by someone associated with this bank - fact. I have initiated weekly contact over the past few weeks, but have not learned anything new. Bank denies anyone associated with them pulled my credit, but this is the only credit application for which I have applied in well over two years, and a hard inquiry clearly shows on my credit report.
