Wellington Place Thank You – My neighbor has been at Wellington Place for three weeks. He is going to return to his home shortly after his rehabilitative stay at Wellington Place. The therapists and entire staff were outstanding when we were there to visit.
Father-in-Law was Pleased – My father-in-law needed a place to complete some rehab after a stroke. This was the first time our family needed a nursing facility, so we weren't sure what to expect. Getting him there was a pretty simple process. This was the only place that didn't have that "hospital" feeling. We had looked at some other places, but none of them compared to Wellington Place. Best care for your parents. – I started to see a decrease in my fathers ability to perform every day functions. I spoke to my siblings and we came to the agreement that an assisted living environment might be the best thing for Dad. Both of my siblings live out of state, so it was up to me to find a place that would be a good fit for my father. Not Trustworthy – Dad needed a rehab facility on short notice after some unforeseen post surgery complications. We set up a tour with the Admissions Director. We decided that the facility was acceptable and indicated he would be released from hospital that day or the next. There was NO indication that the 24 hour window of Dads release was an issue. Have family there and the care and building is GREAT! – Wellington Place helped our family out in a time of need. Mom and Dad both needed a place to live after Mom ended up in the Hospital with a broken hip. We went to Wellington Place and the admission staff help us get Mom in to the skilled unit.
