Our mortgage company selected Wellington. We had to file our first claim. Initially, they were very responsive and polite. I knew it was too good to be true. I have placed no fewer than five calls and sent two e-mails over the course of two and a half weeks. No one has gotten back to me. My last voicemail was strongly worded, and I thought that may do the trick, but no. The worst Insurance Company ever! I did not renew with Wellington because the customer service is horrible! So I went with a reputable Insurance Company and my mortgage company had already paid Wellington the renewal. So I called Wellington and they stated they had mailed back to my Mortgage Company, so I called the mortgage company and they stated that they did not have the check, so I went back to Wellington and they finally admitted they had the check, which I needed to give back to my mortgage for the escrow, then they k... read more

They suck! What else can be said? So many others have complained about them. Some of the reps are rude. Don't follow-up. Adjusters think they can show up to your home whenever they want without an appointment then deny your insurance if you refuse their impromptu appointment. I ha to talk to several managers to teach their employees and agents a lesson.And they have the nerve to charge non-refundable fee for writing a policy despite their mistakes when writing the policy. Some nerve.
