RUDE RUDE RUDE – The person who answers the phone was the rudest person I have ever talked to. This is a sensitive time for many people and to have someone this rude answering a funeral home's phone is just sad. DO NOT USE THIS FUNERAL HOME

Shop around for a more respectful company – My son died at the age of 23 in 2010. I buried him at Mt Lindo because of the cross on the hill. I must tell you working with the Olinger company has been a very bad experience. They are very fake, just working it for what they can talk you into purchasing. After they got my check I could not get return phones calls. I paid $5K for the spot, $1,500 to open the spot and $500 for doing it on a saturday. This week they removed the items friends and family left at the grave site of my ... read more

Exceptional Care – I too had to call on their services, in 2008 and 2009. James Patton and Bob Earthman handled my services and attended to every detail. Very professional, caring and compassionate.

Lovely Staff & Park – My family and I have used Valley of the Sun for the past three family members we have lost. I have always been impressed with the staff and the services. They made beautiful online memorial video of my mother. We are now able to share the video tribute and memories with family and friends around the world. Our friends are able to post their favorite memories of Mom and offer their condolences. We had a private graveside service at the cemetery in the beautiful cremation garden. I find it peaceful and he... read more

Valley Forge Memorial Garden – The stone has been installed and is just beautiful. Our whole family is very pleased. I know we made the right choice going to Valley Forge Memorials. Jerry was very helpful in the decision process on which stone to pick. With his help we feel we received exactly what we wanted and more. It is a difficult time when people need to avail themselves of your services and you handle it like a true professional. Jerry thanks for all your help and we would highly recommend your business to anyone.

Kind, Compassionate and Caring – I have found the staff of Valley of the Sun to be kind, compassionate and caring. It's evident that the folks who work there embrace what they do and work hard to satisfy every need. I found when I lost my loved one, that the whole staff was there for me through -- and after -- the process. They were available by phone, in person and email 24 hours a day and it was a comfort to know that they had the best interests of my family in mind. I know that dealing with the death of someone you love i... read more

Terrible Experience – My mother died in the middle of April and was buried at Florida Memorial Gardens. It is now the end of August and still she has no plaque, just a little sticker with her name. I have contacted these people numerous times by phone and email and we just get the runaround. They say things like "We understand" but clearly they don't understand at all. These plaques are quite expensive, and we paid in full the day we met with them. No one seems to know where her plaque is. Very upsetting experience.

Courteous, kind and efficient service – We were very much at peace from the beginning till the end. Whenever we needed anything, the staff obliged courteously. We had an Indian ceremony with an Indian priest. The staff were very accommodating with all of our requests. We forgot to bring the oil lamp. The staff provided us a candle along with other things that we had asked during the ceremony. Overall the demeanor of the staff was very kind. We wholeheartedly recommend this place.
