You will likely die waiting just to get triaged if you have a severe condition. I don’t think this hospital understands the purpose of a triage system and the administration should be reviewed for incompetence. Watching people get triaged before us it’s approx 40 minutes per person to be triaged - and yes, that’s before the real waiting room. Embarrassing.
Last month my 82 year old father went to Welland Hospital by ambulance after being sick for weeks with pneumonia. Paramedics dropped him off in a waiting room chair with 40 other people waiting. He sat for EIGHT hours feeling so sick he could barely lift his head. Meanwhile many people who literally walked in were “triaged” first. The system is broken. Especially at this hospital. Go elsewhere if at all possible.
Having one doctor for the whole day should be a joke.
This is the worst hospital ever
No sense of urgency. Might as well classify this as a walk-in rather than a hospital
