My family and I strolled thru the Arboretum on Mother’s Day. Even though it rained we enjoyed the beautiful scenery on Lilac Day.
I love this place dearly! When I lived in the area, The Arnold Arboretum was my place to escape and recharge. My husband and I used to live within walking distance and we'd explore and decompress and enjoy all the natural beauty. We'd eventually get married under the European Beech that was lost in the past couple of years (husband and I are still loving and growing strong). I recommend this place for anyone that wants to experience Olmstead's amazing landscaped creation that is THE ARNOLD ARBORETUM.
We highly recommend attending the Lilac Festival and bring a picnic lunch! There are so many lilacs in bloom as well as other trees and shrubs!
Always a great refreshing time spent here.
