Don’t pay attention to negative reviews about administrative issues working with Welcome Home Decks. What you want is a company where the owner is out building and designing with his guys on the jobsite and not throwing out crews of sub contractors so he can make more sales calls. He delivered a completely custom 930 sq foot deck on time and on budget and we couldn’t be happier. Go with the others that will give you a folder with marketing material etc in it. Had an appointment set up for today (Saturday) at 9:30 am with "John" to discuss Welcome Home Decks building a deck at my home. We're busy but rescheduled our Sat morning to accommodate. 9:50 rolls around and still no one has shown up, so I called. Had to leave a voicemail. About a minute later, John calls back with a lame excuse about how he must have had the wrong phone number and had tried to call me "earlier" to reschedule. Right. Very poor communication. I set up an appointment for an estimate for a new deck installation. Unfortunately it was cancelled due to rain. I tried several times to get a follow up appointment scheduled, but couldn't get a firm commitment from the owner. When I finally was able to schedule an appointment it came with a caveat of "if I get done with this job". It was clear that customer service was not a priority.
