I have used Welborn for years and have been pleased with their service in the past so when my garage door wouldn't open I gave them a call. It turned out my 30 year old opener was shot so I had them put a new one in but I later found oil on my garage door and the floor beneath the opener was a mess of ceiling material and oil. They left a mess and when I called the gentleman that I spoke with told me to clean it up. Very disappointed!

Don't waste your time...this company doesn't value it's customers (or employees) time. I had an appt set for a Saturday. I called 4 days prior to cancel and yet they still showed up (I wasn't home, but the guy was at my house). I called to reschedule for the following Saturday and waited 4 HOURS - NO ONE SHOWED UP! On Monday I received a call from the manager/owner (Marvlyn) who was contrite and not very nice about this issue (I have very little free time and wasting 4 hours is not something I was happy with). Outstanding Service!!! – It's 2am, and Brian from Welborn Overhead Door just left after making an emergency repair on my door, which wouldn't shut. He explained why the problem happened, made the necessary repairs, and also replaced the rollers, which were badly needed. He pointed out some other things which could become a problem in the future, but said those items didn't need to be fixed now, so I felt like he was straightforward. Be sure to get a written cost of repair from this company. – This was years ago. Welborn put a new garage door on my garage and did a fair job at a good price. However, later my garage door opener had problems. The young man (Steve S.) came out to repair the opener and I ask what it would cost and he said that it was just a small plastic piece call the (I believe) the screw drive? and that the cost would be $30 dollars. great company – I have nothing but good to say about this company. They showed up when they said they would. Called in the morning and my garage door was installed by the afternoon. I thought that their price was very reasonable for the product sold. Customer service called afterward and Billie Jo was very pleasant. I will continue to use this company. Larry

GREAT SERVICE, FAIR PRICE – I called in to have my door repaired after calling two other companies that wanted my arm as well as my leg. Seeing as how I really need them, I figured I would try yet again. My technician showed up on time the same day that I called. He went over the problem, gave me an estimate ($200 cheaper than the last guy) and fixed it right there and then. Couldn't be happier.

NO SHOW AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. – I made an appointment to have my garage door operator replaced. The appointment was for a Saturday between the hours of 11am and 2pm. The technician never showed up. I waited from 10am - 5pm. I called their office numerous times. No one was able to get a hold of the technician to find out why he did not show up.
