I started going to Weiscoff Child Evaluation Center as a adult, around 25yrs old.(I'm a big kid now) I found out that I don't just have epilepsy (at 18month old) and a host of other things. But I also have to add mitochondrial myopathy to the list. Thanks to these good doctors, I found out why I was having all of my medical problems especially now that I'm nearly 60.
My son’s doctor put in a referral back in July of 2024, we were scheduled for the initial eval appointment for April of 2025. We were called and advised that Doctor was leaving the practice and had to be rescheduled to October of 2025 with Dr Sears. Well we received a phone call today that Dr Sears is phasing into retirement and they have to reschedule our appointment AGAIN! This is absolutely ridiculous.
My grandson saw Dr Mendoza here at thr Weisskop Center from birth to about 9. She was wonderful. She took everything about him into account for each visit. She followed and cheered for each developmental milestone he met and also advancements in schoolwork. I never had to fight with him to go to her appointments. He had developmental delay and ADHD. He had some crossover issues that could be a very mild form of autism but explained with his other issues it would be difficult to separate them out. It was sad when she told us ... read more
Our autism eval went great here. They were professional and very nice. It was clean and updated. Mary Brehm was awesome. Great experience.
