My wife gets in a car accident and literally bleeding from her face from banding it into taxi terminal. They have had us waiting for 3 hours. Guess it’s not enough of an emergency.
I am a home health nurse and I had a patient needing ostomy supplies immediately, I called everywhere and no other hospital would help me. Kitty the RN in the emergency department helped me when she did not have to, she saved my patient from a rehospitilization and helped out a fellow nurse in need! Great work! And very clean emergency room !
Weiss Memorial might genuinely be the worst hospital in the entire city. I have never sat in a waiting room for so long. I kept asking for an estimated wait time, only to receive nothing but shrugs and “I don’t know”. It took FOUR HOURS just to be seen by a nurse in triage. And even after waiting all that time, she still asked me to, “Return to the lobby and wait a few minutes for a room to open up”.
