My wife gets in a car accident and literally bleeding from her face from banding it into taxi terminal. They have had us waiting for 3 hours. Guess it’s not enough of an emergency.
I am a home health nurse and I had a patient needing ostomy supplies immediately, I called everywhere and no other hospital would help me. Kitty the RN in the emergency department helped me when she did not have to, she saved my patient from a rehospitilization and helped out a fellow nurse in need! Great work! And very clean emergency room !
Weiss Memorial might genuinely be the worst hospital in the entire city. I have never sat in a waiting room for so long. I kept asking for an estimated wait time, only to receive nothing but shrugs and “I don’t know”. It took FOUR HOURS just to be seen by a nurse in triage. And even after waiting all that time, she still asked me to, “Return to the lobby and wait a few minutes for a room to open up”. Took a friend here who was in extreme pain, waited 30 mins to even get attention from the front desk lady who was clearly under qualified for her job. Friend was rolling around at this point, she was extremely dismissive and said she doesn’t know when the nurses will be free. Place is extremely dirty and the staff are unprofessional. Over an hour as of writing and not a single person has acknowledged us, and not a single person has been admitted into the rooms.
