As a recent candidate for cataract removal surgery, I consulted with three doctors at three practices. In the end I chose Dr. Weiss, and I’m glad I did. The procedure went very well and I’m enjoying my restored vision. Dr. Weiss is the best! I have been his patient for over 20 years and cannot say enough good things about him. Initially, I was a glaucoma suspect but developed a few odd problems which he treated. He is very thorough indeed!
I’ve been going for many years, as a Glaucoma suspect. As of late things have gotten worse and instead of beginning treatment, this doctor kept delaying it and just kept testing me. I finally went for another opinion, only to find out that I lost some sight in one eye and damage was noted on my optic nerve. I left this office immediately and am finally being treated. Hopefully I won’t lose eyesight completely.
If I could give NEGATIVE stars (minuses) I would. #1 - I had to have a second surgery because Dr Weiss left a piece of lens in my eye during cataract surgery and then had the nerve to bill me for his mistake. #2 even more disturbing, he was ready to schedule the removal of a cataract which doesn't exist. I have subsequently visited another surgeon who verified that I do NOT have a cataract at all. Hard to believe that you can't trust your doctor
This office is now a money mill ! RUN ! In and out, no time to talk to the patient. We asked for an MRI and something for the swelling. After two days his office help ( his wife ) told us she couldn't find where to get AUTHORIZATION and we should just pay for it OUT OF POCKET because the Dr. ( her husband ) said that my wife didn't even need the MRI THAT LATER SHOWED A TORN MENISCUS AND REQUIRES SURGERY ! My wife took all of ten minutes to find out No AUTHORIZATION NEEDED and got the MRI appointment. As for his diagnosis of ... read more
Dr. Weiss is a good eye doctor. He takes time to answer your questions. His optometrist is also really nice. His office is has a little to be desired however. Some of the people running the office are nice, but there is one lady where she just seems like she has an axe to grind with everyone. The hours are convenient. On Tuesdays, you can get as late as 7pm, which is good for working people. Also, if you have DMV, school, or work forms, they charge $15 per form. I have never heard of that before
I have been a patient of Dr. Weiss' for over 25 years. I trust him very much. He is a thorough doctor who has a pleasant and efficient demeanor.
Dr. Weiss is knowledgeable and addressed everything I needed to hear. Met all expectations.
