Today was Weirdo Cafe's last day of operation, so I went here for lunch with a friend. Had the Golden Desert fries and the Sunset Bay Seafood risotto. Everything was good, the fries especially. I don't really have risotto so it was hard for me to judge, but it tasted good for what it was. Atmosphere/decor was great. Only one waitress for the restaurant and she seemed quite busy (a full house on closing day), but she was friendly nevertheless. Sad to see another fixture of the neighbourhood close. I went there with a friend..loved it! Great food.. drinks and service. So sad it's shutting down

Recently learned about this neighbourhood hidden gem from a friend, and I couldn't believe how good this place was. The restaurant was spacious; the decor obviously showed the owners put a lot of thought and effort into it. The staff was friendly, and best and most important of all, their food was out-of-this-world tasty. We had a schnitzel risotto main dish, a karaage spaghetti main dish, and an Earl Grey ice-cream toast dessert, and they were all extremely tasty. Portions were generous as well.
