Dr. Youssef is the best . Back when the person on the phone was decent I received an appointment and back then the person on the phone was very nice but I don't what kind of education a person needs to treat patients in such a rude manner. Never did get to get an appointment because she said maybe a month or a year. What's the matter with this picture. My spouse and I have had 3 different occasions when we had appts with Dr. Youssef however was given a CRNP instead. We specifically wanted Dr Youssef for certain reasons, and one time waited 5 weeks with poor results. Was never phoned nor texted that Doctor would not be in. His staff seems to need more instructions on patient-centered care and courtesy.
This doctor is fine if you have a simple need. If you or any member of your family ever need anything more complicated than a colonoscopy, for the love of god, GET A REFERRAL TO THE CLEVELAND CLINIC. You are welcome.
For over a year my mother visited Dr. Weippert with no diagnosis, lack of return calls from staff, serious pain, and unfriendly staff. After being fed up, she finally got another referral to a different doctor who has provided answers and relief in just 4 months.
Dr Weippert is a pleasant, easy-going, regular-guy kind of doctor. We've been to his office several times and also had an endoscopy done by him. He did a nice job and we'd highly recommend him. The problem is his staff. They are the most unfriendly, unwelcoming, bordering on rude staff we've ever experienced. I am a retired physician; if my staff was as cold & arrogant as his I'd have fired them immediately. I see Dr. Yousef at the Hermitage Pa campus. Dr. Yousef is the first doctor who will listen to me and actually try to find a solution! He has helped me more in 2 months than any PCP or GI dr have in the past 2 years. Sometimes youll wait a while in the waiting room but that is because he takes the time to listen and care and discuss options and concerns. His Hermitage staff have been wonderful and stayed on top of everything for me. Thank you so much!
Dr Weippert is caring and compassionate. He didn't waste anytime ordering testing. He explained all the procedures and the results they would produce. The office staff was incredibly helpful with pre-authorizations and appointments.
Saw dr. youssef in august of 2019 regarding a colonoscopy. Waited 2 1/2 hours for first visit. Three months later i am still waiting to receive a scheduled appointment for this procedure. called the office four times and spoke to a very rude nurse who said she would call when she received the appt. time. Still waiting. This is totally unacceptable. And the sad part is no one cares.
I was referred to Dr Youseff due to some issues that were seen in a ER chest scan that was conducted. When he discussed what he saw from the chest scan with me, he told me my esophagus was thickened and there was a “spot” on the outside part of my esophagus. He then recommended an upper GI be done at which I found out I had acid reflux. In regards to the “spot” on the outside part of my esophagus, he seemed to have very little concern and wanted to just have another chest scan done in 6 weeks to see if that spot went away.
