Dr. Michael Weintraub is a fantastic Dr. ! He was my neurologist when I suffered a broken back while I was 4 1/2 months pregnant with my now my beautiful 28 year old daughter on March 4th 1991. A woman had hit us head on as she came flying around a 90° very skinny tight turn here in Mahopac and I was a passenger that was ejected up into the windshield that I almost went all the way through with the top of my head that compacted my spine and broke L4 which kept me in the hospital for weeks and then transferred home by ambulan... read more
Very negative about help with his so-called diagnosis. I want to interact with doctors who have positive outlook. The person who took my blood was nasty because he was unable to find a vein.
Dr. Weintraub took time with me. I felt my examination was thorough and he answered all my questions. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I have been seeing Dr. Weintraub on and off for seven years. He is a superb listener and attentive and sensitive to my issues. He is also very thorough in his examinations and testing with the dual goals of finding the causes of my problems and making me comfortable and functional. He works closely with me to ensure that I have the right treatments and medications. Thus far, I have been very satisfied with his approach and care. If that weren't enough, his staff is also efficient and caring.
A year ago, Dr. Weintraub spent over an hour reviewing my condition and offering possible actions. He listened carefully, and was thorough and insightful. He shared his opinions freely with me; and on a return visit this year, he again conducted a thorough review update. I am an RN with a great deal of contact with doctors, and I highly respect Dr. Weintraub's knowledge and value my experience with him.
He comes off as very arrogant He rushed through eval and would not listen to concerns nor answer questions. The ladies at the desk were nice.
