My claims involve serious wage-theft, safety violations, and retaliatory conduct by a large Domino’s franchise group that was previously sued for similar violations. Out of my $10,900 settlement, these people took *97%* of that. I only found out when I got my 1099 saying I received more than 33x what I did (I only received a check for $300). When I confronted them, they seemed to think it was perfectly reasonable and that I was making a big deal over nothing. I didn't agree to any kind of percentage like that and if I had any idea I would be putting literally over $10,000 in these people's pockets basically with zero gain I wouldn't have filed in the first place.
