I WOULDN'T PUT A DOG IN THIS PLACE. THE STAFF IS HORRIBLE, VERY NASTY TO THE PATIENTS. I've SEEN THEM PUSH THEM DOWN ON TO THE COUCH, THEY PUT TRAYS IN FRONT OF PEOPLE WHO CAN'T FEED THEMSELVES, AND THE TRAY IS LEFT UNTOUCHED, THE STATE DOES NOTHING!!!!!!! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN AND THE OWNER AND ALL HIS STAFF IN JAIL. IT IS TOTALLY DISGUSTING. MY FATHER DIED IN THERE BECAUSE OF THEIR NEGLIANCE. This place has went downhill from what it once was. My friend who was unable to make legal decisions on her own was charged for two years of services that were unauthorized. The CFO Randi or anyone else for that refused to answer several of my calls, nobody knew anything when called out on the issues. Very unprofessional on several accounts.
My dad was in rehab at this facility, the day and evening staff were wonderful, however the overnight staff was very inefficient, patient needed assistance every night, waited hours for an aid, even after several complaints from family, was not resolved, don't know if this is due to under staffing or poor management.
Follow your instincts. When you don't see employees, calls go directly to voice mail, no one listens to residents' concerns, staff back-talking to residents in the dining room, food inferior -- Weinberg is a highly overpriced facility [not a home] for any family member.

My mom was a resident in the Stovroff Towers at Benderson Village for almost 5 years in assisted living. When she first got there they promised her everything but after awhile the quality of care got worse. They have only a few full time overworked aides that were very nice to her. But the rest are just temps. Every time I went there was a different temp aide. Some could care less and just go through the motions. Walk around on their cell phones.
