My doctor here is absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately the ancillary staff are some of the rudest nurses and phlebotomists I have ever met. For being an OBGYN office, where patients are not always receiving the greatest news, they need further compassion and empathy training. Be cautiously aware if you have suffered any type of pregnancy loss this is NOT the office for you. I was absolutely appalled at my last visit and this will undoubtedly affect my future plans with this practice.
UPDATE: After a stint of unpleasant experiences, I’m happy to say that action has been taken to address the situation. I have encountered several nurses here that are disrespectful and seem to hate patients. The doctors are good but the overall service once other staff is taken into account is not. There is the occasional nurse that’s kind but that’s not the norm. I do not recommend this office.
The billing department at Weill Cornell OBGYN is terrible. I requested a call back from them twice (you can’t call directly I guess) and both times, I got a message from a Rebecca who conveniently sent a message through Connect past 5:00PM when you can no longer call her. I specifically requested that they only call and cannot message me through the portal. How am I supposed to deal with an issue if they refuse to call back? Ridiculous and lazy.
I was nervous to come here because of all the bad reviews, but I had nothing but a good experience! Check in was quick and I wasn’t waiting long. Dr Barbara Strong was quick and thorough with her exam and made the experience smooth and comfortable.
