Just tried to call to make an appointment for my daughter and when I tell you the receptionist could NOT HAVE BEEN MORE RUDE. She would not let me finish a sentence, would not let me ask any clarifying questions and just kept speaking over me. DO NOT bother trying to call here. Go literally anywhere else.
I wish I could give negative stars. I never actually saw a doctor here because a few days before my sons appointment I would get a rude call that our appointment has been canceled - this has happened TWICE! The first time they gave us no option of rescheduling until we fought the super condescending staff and got an appointment for a month later. The second time we get a call that they shouldn’t have scheduled us for the day they did (this is 3 days before the appointment) and can schedule us again in TWO months. Such a horr... read more
Dr Chiaro, in Neurology was phenomenal. He really listened to my daughter, was so thorough, knowledgeable, honest and kind. His bedside manner was one of the best I’ve seen. I have worked in Healthcare for almost 25 years myself. My daughter is somewhat complex and he really took his time. We are very happy with the care we have received from Dr Chiaro.
We used to see Dr Keros, and he was amazing. Great bedside manner, really knew how to get through to my kid. But he retired and now they tell me there is no one who can write her prescriptions. How can a pediatric neurology department at a major nyc hospital not have a doctor who can write a script for ADHD medication? And they can't provide answers either. No referral, and we are left holding the (empty) bag. Overall, a horrible experience once the one good doctor was gone.
Dr. Nangia is awesome unfortunately the staff there, really aren't helpful. Everything is an issue; getting an appointment, scheduling the correct procedure, getting an authorization, speaking to a supervisor. Like don't quietly quit, just quit!
