I never left a doctors office in tears until I met DrMa. Mind you I worked 34 years at Raritan Bay Cardiology and never saw our doctors treat a patient like I was treated. I went to Dr Silveira for 3-4 yr before she left. I loved her. Laura who I know spoke with me, did some basic tests for almost 1/2 Hr. I was seen there because I had been fine neurologically for the past year and I wanted to get my prescription refilled and meet this new Doctor. I will start by saying that I was transported from another hospital to JFK Medical Center. Upon getting there I was told that I would be seeing a neurologist for a 24 hour evaluation as I was having a stroke like, symptoms. Dr. Mai came into the room with her residence’s approximately a total of six people, she never introduced herself her name she simply told me that they were going to do a EEG and then I would be discharged within 24 hours. JFK Neuroscience RANDOMLY scheduled an appointment on 07/11/2023 with this doctor as a follow up from ER Visit on 05/22/2023. Though the appointment was after 6 weeks, Patient was excited for this visit after reasearching about this Dr's education background and experience. Patient had high hope on this Dr's wisdom, primarily because earlier 4 neurologist had harassed this patient by going to the extent of manipulating the patient's supplied symptoms in ER.
