The clerks who answer phones at Wegman's Monroe Avenue Pharmacy aren't pharmacy techs, or necessarily highly trained. They don't know which is a lifesaving drug, so have no knowledge as to priorities in helping people. The head pharmacist eventually told me that is the way his pharmacy is, and basically it’s tough luck, so don't expect more. Called for a refill for a crucial, lifesaving medication. In person, they are very kind and welcoming. However, I called to ask if they would override a refill for a medication since I was leaving the country and the person who picked up the phone was extremely rude. She sounded annoyed and wanted to get rid of me as soon as she could so she transferred my to the pharmacist. I expected better from this Wegmans.

They don't have any COVID vaccines for under 65, but they still let you set up an appointment. When you go to the pharmacy to get the vaccine, that is where they tell you that the appointment is cancelled since they don't have vaccines for people younger than 65. They are unnecessarily wasting people's time, I had to drive 15 minutes there and then drive back, a waste of 30 minutes of my time which I would have spent trying to get the vaccine somewhere else.
