Please get pepperoni and egg salad in the sub shop!! And more topping choices, roasted red pepper and arugula would be amazing.
Went to the store on the 27th & parked on the west side to run in quick for some soup & prepared food for dinner. Get to the door at the cafe to find it closed & a sign saying it was closed due to the cold temperatures. So I had to walk around to the front instead. Not for nothing, but who designed a store with a cafe on the west side. Wegmans family, im thinking you need to focus on the stores that you have in NY rather than going nation wide. Some of of your stores are falling short of what they were when your father was alive. Food in the buffet areas are cold and tasteless, machines aren't being kept filled, changing items around from one place to another which makes a "quick trip to the store" is an hour long hunt for a few items. Great customer service! Kim in bakery stopped what she was working on to decorate a cookie for me for my daughters birthday. I should have ordered it a couple days but time slipped away from me. Kim went above and beyond for me today and i really appreciate all she did for me!
This is hands down my favorite Wegmans in the Rochester area. It’s mall enough that it isn’t overwhelming, it has everything I need, I can usually run right in and right out, and it’s close to home. I’ve never encountered a bad employee and have often seen management thanking the employees for complaining my in during bad weather or the infamous wind storm last year. They also have a lot of high school kids working which is a HUGE perk in my book. Great job, Calkins Road Wegmans!
How stores, even my beloved Wegmans, steel from us without us noticing. I've been buying the 33 oz. can for $6.99. That's gone and replaced with the 25.4 oz. can for $5.99. An increase of $.03 per oz. The smaller packages/higher prices is insidious and we don't even notice!
