We have nothing like this where we are from, which is northwest Ohio. Loved the wine selection.
My wife and I, who used to frequent the food/bar area between the bakery and fresh seafood, had lunch there on Monday, 03/26. While the service was good, the food was sub-par, especially judging it against prior visits from the past. Set aside the fact that they have removed beef from the menu (they had the best ribeye, hands-down), the fish was dry and the portion was tiny. I have never had a bad experience here. Prices are comparable and the customer service is always great. I never have to worry about trying something new here because I have yet to be disappointed. Their catering selection is great, the presentation is always beautiful and delicious! Their premade meals, sushi and bakery items are always fresh and delicious! Wegmans is the store that doesn't disappoint!
The customer service was not good. I interacted with 5 employees. Two of which barely made eye contact and seemed super annoyed that I was asking anything. One of them even sighed when I asked if she was a Wegmans employee or an outside vendor. There was no ice in the drink machine so they told me to go upstairs and fill my cup. This place is WAY too big for my liking and the prices are outrageous, and that’s coming from a Whole Foods shopper!
I have to give Wegmans 5 stars, because I Love them. If your favorite EZ meal is unavailable that's a good sign. Grab something else.
I love Wegmans - they always have that one ingredient you can’t find anywhere else. Plus, eating while you go over your list is a definite bonus!!
