I would just suggest if you would like to go home earlier, maybe post the hours as closing at 3:30 instead of 4. However, I get the feeling if you all did do that, you would start locking the doors at 3 instead of 3:30. If your business hours are posted to be open until 4:00, then your doors should not be locked until 4:00. I used to work for a doctors office and closed for them as well and never did we lock the doors before the posted closing time, as no business should ever do that.
