I have been taking my animals to Weedsport Animal Hospital for > 30 years. I remember a time when my cat was killed by a car a day after delivering three kittens. Dr. Schnabel came to the rescue on a Sunday, taught me to tube feed and stimulate the cat's anal sphincter. If anyone is considering changing vets or seeking services with someone new, DO NOT even consider bringing your beloved pet or your wallet to Weedsport Animal Hospital. I was quite satisfied with the care and compassion my pets and I received for at least seven to eight years. Since Dr. Hopp bought this practice, a lot changed, and not for the better. Once again your veterinary clinic has failed a Weedsport family! The first was during a medical emergency of our beloved pet who was 19 years old. If the dr. was truly committed to her patients, she would be on call for emergencies. My cat had been treated there since he was a kitten and under the administration of Dr. Schnabel, a TRUELY compassionate veterinarian. Doc and the staff there are the only folks to treat my furbabies since Doc. Byel sold his practice in Camillus. Doc S saved our English bull dog and has taken care of 4 different boston terriers, 2 cats and a couple Scottish terriers. He and Doc Hobb and the staff get 10 gold stars in my opinion

The Vet/Owner is an person that should not be caring for animals, was quoted a price by his office, Then tried charging me way over the amount. When I said something he got inches from my face and started screaming at me. His receptionist, or whatever she was, was screaming and swearing. Calling me a liar. The owner/vet threw down the paperwork. Told me to pay the bill and take my dog and get out. Find another vet, and No follow up care for my dog that just had dental work done.
