This is an excellent place to bring children for their “Pumpkin Fest”. What has been done with this farm is beyond excellent. The Mitchell farm has a great corn maze where children get towed in artful barrels by a classic tractor. This farm is simply chock full of good taste and breathtaking views of the Central Pennsylvania countryside. First time ever was Friday night. We had no clue we'd spend hours running around doing so many fun things. My kids loved it! The $12 admission goes a long way..I would recommend eating prior to going as hotdogs are expensive as were the smores, but overall it's money well spent to have something so nice in altoona.
