I CANNOT stress enough how incredible Laurie (and her wonderful husband) are. Laurie has this beautiful cadence and rythm to her way of speech. She sent us a questionnaire asking us various questions about our relationship. Little did I know this questionnaire would be tied into her ceremony sermon at our wedding. If you're looking for an officiant, then I highly recommend Laurie. The majority of my guests said the ceremony was their favorite portion of our wedding, and that had a lot to do with Laurie and the care she took to make our ceremony personal to us. She was professional, dependable and just absolutely lovely.
Laurie Cook was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding ceremony on the beach at Port Austin. We only gave her one month heads up with our date and she accommodated us in every possible way. We loved having a preview of the ceremony to check that everything was just as we wanted, catering to our needs and wishes. It was the day we had waited for all our lives and she helped make it perfect. Definitely go with Laurie, you won't be disappointed! She is LGBTQIA friendly and a beautiful soul!
Laurie was absolutely wonderful to work with! Our wedding was quickly planned due to health issues in my family, and we were worried we wouldnt find an officiant on such short notice. Laurie immediately said she would help and was so great! Fast responses, beautiful ceremony, and just so pleasant to talk to. Highly recommend!
Laurie was very accommodating. She has several ceremony plans to choose from to make you day special. She writes the ceremony and let's you read beforehand if you wish to. Very professional.
