Reverend Melody helped make our wedding day seamless and oh so special! If you’re getting married on the OBX she is the person to call! Traveling all the way down to Avon for us when many others would not. The ceremony she prepares is meaningful and filled with love. She advised us on our marriage certificate and filing as well as checked in with us the day of as the weather and wind were not cooperating in true OBX fashion. Thank you Reverend Melody for being a part of our love story!
Perfect ceremony. Exactly what we wanted. She was helpful from the very beginning with advising us of the process to get a marriage license and when. Very flexible should weather have become an issue. Could not have been more smooth and perfect of an experience.

If you're getting planning on getting married on the Outer Banks, you need to contact Reverend Melody right away! My husband and I decided to get married at the courthouse in Manteo, which including going to the detention center to meet with the magistrate. Long story short, when we arrived at the detention center, there was nobody there and we were told the magistrate was not there that day.
