Aki performed a simple and beautiful ceremony for us, and we could not have asked for more! He was communicative throughout the process, gave us a lovely, intimate ceremony, and submitted the paperwork the same day. Thanks, Aki, for making our elopement special!
We decided last minute to get married in Hilo and Aki was the perfect officiant! He was easy to get ahold of via call/text and was very kind and professional. Our ceremony was simple and intimate, exactly what we had hoped for. Our marriage license was filed electronically a couple hours after our ceremony. I definitely would recommend Aki to anyone hoping to get married in Hilo!
I am leaving a review since I think other couples should think twice before booking with Aki. Aki arrived at our wedding on 7/7/21 10 minutes before the scheduled ceremony time, and after 20 minutes waiting he said he had another engagement and that he would need to leave in less than 30 minutes. No wedding ever starts on time, but we had only been 10 minutes late when he said this. Aki was great to work with and gave us a beautiful and simple ceremony at Liliuokalani Gardens. Would highly recommend picking him to officiate on your big day or for your renewal.
