I had an absolutely horrible experience at the Webster Bank branch in middletown ny. I left work early specifically so I could make a school tax payment. because of construction and traffic on the highway. I arrived at approximately 3:01 PM literally one minute after there deadline. When i approached the teller and explained the situation, I was told they stop taking payments at 3:00 pm and there was nothing she could do. Employees were bickering with each other. The woman who helped me was very condescending. Won’t be doing any more business here.
Went in to have something notarized and the women either did not feel like helping me for some reason or was not in the mood for notaries but when told I needed a notary she stated she was busy with a client and he had quite a few things and kept asking if I wanted to wait and then said it will be 10-15 minutes. Obviously if I came there I would not have minded the wait. But her lack of customer services skills lead me elsewhere.
