This review is for Charlotte. She does a great job on my husband's dreads and constantly accomodates us on short notice and does not complain. She has reasonable prices too. The shop is small but it's not like the normal shops where everyone is talking about everyone behind their back. It's normal beauty shop conversation going on. Parking is tough but it's worth it..
I walked in off the street to make a appt. and i saw my stylist locking a gentleman's hair. Locks galore. OMG! The guys locks were gorgeous. I am a fan. She had all types hair and nationalities coming to get their hair locked.....She had clients that wanted starter locks, she had clients that came in wanted a simple wash and set and she started on them-- both clients changed their minds and wanted weaves. I was intesting to the beautician at work and very organized.
BEST DREADLOCKS i searched all over to find someone to do my boyfriends dreadlocks. i spoke to a women named peaches. she was very helpful. she explained the different methods of locking hair and gave very helpful tips on he should care for his locks. this was the first time i had ever heard of locking tools. she locked his hair with locking tools and it's been a few months now and his locks are still nice. the salon is very quiet and clean. i give this place TWO THUMBS UP !!.
This is the best place for dreadlocks. The salon in centrally located in downtown oakland. Walking distace from 12 th Street. Bart. I made an appointment for my man to get his hair done and they did such a nice job. We were in and out in less than 2 hrs. Great customer Service and nice calming music. The lady that did my hair was very knowlegeable on how to care for natural hair.
Peaches is the bomb! She did an excellent job of dread maintenance, and my dreads are extra long, so it is difficult for me to find a qualified person. I have had top flight stylists in Chicago, so I know a skilled stylist when I experience one, and her prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Peaches.
Charolette is amazing. I made an error and arrived a day before my appointment. She squeezed me in, in a timely fashion. Her laugh is infectious and the positive vibes her presence emits will last for days. I'm a customer for life
I really appreciated how special the staff made me feel. I was greeted with a team of friendly folks. My wash, set and style was perfectly to my liking. Definitely will be recommending to my friends. :-)
I found this place on Yelp. Dreadlockssalon.com. The ladys name who did my hair was Peaches. She was a God Sent. I had been looking all over to find a salon that specialized in dreadlocks and sisterlocks, This place had good reviews and they were right. Very Professional. My locks were tight. I had a choice of using locking tools or not and my stylist explained the difference. She was very knowledgable and my hair feels and looks great. I cant wait for my next appointment.
