After a water leak from our 15-year-old in roof ducted heating unit, a Brivis StarPro MAX HX30i, I organised quotes from 3 local plumbers and 3 heating and cooling dealers for a suitable replacement e.g. another Brivis or Braemar. As this was our second Brivis ducted heater with a condensate drain which also lasted around 15 years, we were inclined to go for a non-condensing heater that doesn’t have the condensation drainage hassles caused by some heater models.
