I built a single stand alone garage in January 2000. I used Weatherboard Classis Sawn Planks for the cladding. I wash the outside of the shed yearly, and repaint every 7 years. It looks spectacular. In 2017 I noticed some rot starting to show above the roller door flashing. I bogged it and thought that would be it. I noticed a few months ago(June 2024) the rot was breaking through again. I thought I would talk to Weathertex for advice. The inside is not lined, so the shed is well ventilated. Not the problem. Guess what Weath... read more
Really disappointed with this product, it was sold to us as clip lock cladding, it doesn’t clip lock the boards just sit next to each other leaving a small crack for weather to get in. They recommended putting silicone on this crack. The boards warp really easy, just laying them on the ground in the sun trying to mark out what to cut and they warp. When they are screwed on the wall they are warping sometimes and it pulls the boards off the wall pulling the screw through the board. For such an expensive product it’s extremely... read more

I wouldn't recommend this product at all. We used it for exterior cladding of our brand new build and several months later, during warmer months, the joints split by 1-2cm. Then in cooler months it came back together. The builder had to put a unsightly plastic strip on it to protect the cladding. It looks appalling. It is an inferior product that costs a lot.
