A sales person came to my door asking if I am interested in a free quote. I stated I was not currently looking for new windows, but did provide my information for the future as the sales person said that I would not receive any phone calls. The sales person then asked if I was available a certain day for them to come and give me a quote, and I stated I was not available. We had a rep out for a new roof. Everything looked and sounded great but the sales pitch of "buy now or it'll cost you 10% when we revisit" was a major red flag. Expect major pressure to buy with your no obligation free estimate.
A WeatherGard rep approached me at my home to ask if we needed any windows. We had recently replaced most windows and weren't in the need for that, but then he mentioned the company can do gutters and roofs as well. This interested me because I own a 15-person marketing agency operated out of two commercial properties, side-by-side buildings I personally own 100% outright, one of which needs gutter work and the other which is due for a full roof tear-off.
